The Southern Oregon softball team dropped to 0-4 on the season, dropping a doubleheader at No. 20 CSU San Marcos today.
CSU San Marcos won the opener 11-5 and the nightcap 4-2.
CSU San Marcos improved to 4-0 with the victories, while Southern Oregon dropped to 0-4. The Raiders travel to Vanguard Saturday.
In the opener, the Raiders scored five in the second thanks to base hits by Jordyn Kurtz, Bailey Price, Sarah Wharton and Rayne Okimoto.
CSU San Marcos came back with a single run in the second, three in the third, two in the fifth and five in the sixth to take the first game.
Kathryn Moy, Price and Wharton each had a pair of hits for the Raiders.
In the second game, CSU San Marcos took a 4-1 lead after three innings and allowed just a single run in the seventh to SOU.
Moy, Meghan Laughlin, Price, Wharton and Justine Fulton each had one hit for the Raiders.
Karri Johnson picked the last four innings for the Raiders and gave up just two hits.
