Four Southern Oregon softball players received all-Cascade Collegiate Conference recognition as the conference office announced its postseason awards Friday.

Stephanie Vandenbusch (Fremont, Calif./American) led the way for SOU, earning Co-Newcomer of the Year honors to go with first-team all-conference recognition. Vandenbusch batted .379 with 26 runs batted in and nine home runs for the Raiders, ranking third in the conference in slugging percentage (.828) and tying for fourth in home runs. She missed several weeks due to a knee injury, but returned to the lineup for the final two weeks of the season.

Moy batted .364 with nine doubles and seven home runs, and she closed out her career as the all-time SOU leader in doubles, hits and total bases. Jordyn Kurtz (Tacoma, Wash./Stadium) earned her third all-conference honor, including her second time on the first team, after posting a 10-9 record with a 2.91 earned run average in the pitching circle, to go with a .304 batting average with six home runs and seven doubles.

Julia Willison (Reno, Nevada/McQueen) earned honorable mention recognition after tying for the team lead with nine home runs and batting .343 with a .677 slugging percentage. The sophomore catcher finished the season with a team-high 32 runs batted in.
