The Raiders take on Sierra College tomorrow in an exhibition match before facing Vanguard Monday.

The group interviewed representatives from Western Oregon University, Oregon Institute of Technology, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and other organizations. The Warriors won the opener 10-1 in six innings and 9-3 in the nightcap. 

The Warriors improved to 13-6 overall, while the Raiders dropped to 4-10. Assistant coach Kolby Schooley has been named interim head coach by SOU Athletic Director Matt Sayre and will finish out the season. A search for a replacement will begin soon.

The tournament is a major fundraiser for the SOU football team and is put on by the Raider Red Zone, the alumni group of SOU football.

In all, the Raiders won 12 events in the meet that featured teams from SOU, Oregon Tech, College of the Siskiyous and Southwestern Oregon Community College. 

Haga, a freshman from Central Point, cruised to victories in both events. In the discus, Haga won with a throw of 130-08.
