Southern Oregon University Athletics

Having graduated in 1957, Bill played football, basketball, and baseball.  As a quarterback he received regional and national recognition by both United Press International and Assocaite Press polls.  Bill was captain/co-captain of the football team from his sophomore through senior years.  Both the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cardinals football clubs expressed interest in him.
