First place Concordia used a pair of second half goals to turn a close match into a 3-0 victory over Southern Oregon today in Portland.
Concordia improved to 14-0-1 overall and 7-0 in Cascade Conference play. SOU dropped to 7-8 overall and 5-2 in conference action.
"At halftime we felt like were in the game," SOU Head Coach Jon Clement said. "But in the second half they elevated their play and took control. They are the class of this league. We need to get this out of our head and focus on next weekend."
SOU trailed just 1-0 at the halftime, but Kaitlyn Tebbs and Jessica Ramback scored goals in the second half for a 3-0 victory.
SOU finished with three shots, while Concordia had 18 shots.
The Raiders return to Ashland next weekend with home matches against Corban (Friday) and Warner Pacific (Saturday).
