Macy Egerman's goal with seven seconds left in regulation gave the College of Idaho women's soccer team a 1-0 victory over Southern Oregon today in Caldwell, Idaho.

The Coyotes improved to 7-3 overall and 3-0 in Cascade Conference play with the victory. Southern Oregon dropped to 3-7 overall and 1-1 in conference action. The Raiders travel to Eastern Oregon Saturday afternoon.

Egerman got an assist from teammate Chelsea Heffner and found the net at the far post past SOU keeper Jessica Kuehlwien right before time expired.

"We weren't hard enough and that allowed the tempo of the game to not be where we like," SOU Head Coach Jon Clement said. "Credit to them they scored a good goal at the end."

Kuehlwien had turned away numerous College of Idaho attempts, including back-to-back shots on goal at the 80 minute mark.

The Coyotes finished with 14 shots and eight shots on goal. SOU finished with three shots and one shot on goal.

Kelly Cates (Poulsbo, Wash./North Kitsap) had two of SOU's three shots.
