Four Southern Oregon volleyball players and head coach
Josh Rohlfing have earned Cascade Conference honors.
Rohlfing was named Cascade Conference Co-Coach of the Year along with College of Idaho's Liz Mendiola.
Leah Bergstrom (West Linn, Ore./West Linn),
Heather Porter (Coos Bay, Ore./Marshfield) and
Leanne Stennett (Encinitas, Calif./San Dieguito) earned All-Cascade Conference honors and junior
Chelsea Hartman (Lebanon, Ore./Lebanon) was named Newcomer of the Year and earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honors.
Rohlfing helped lead the Raiders to a 24-3 overall record and a 17-1 conference record, as the Raiders shared the regular season conference crown with College of Idaho.
Bergstrom emerged as SOU's most consistent player, finishing fourth in the conference in attack percentage (.292), seventh in kills (2.83 per set) and eighth in total blocks (71).
Porter led the Cascade Conference in attack percentage (.353) and finished third in the conference in total blocks with 106.
Stennett was a star for the Raiders on both offense and defense. The junior averaged 1.96 kills per set and also 2.51 digs per set.
Hartman made a huge impact on the conference after transferring from Linn-Benton Community College. Hartman finished fourth in the conference in kills at 2.99 per set and fifth in attack percentage at .277.
Thirteenth-ranked Southern Oregon will host 21st-ranked Lewis-Clark State Saturday at 6 p.m.
