11/20/2009 3:49:28 PM

The 13th-ranked Southern Oregon volleyball team hopes to continue its recent trend of home dominance Saturday night when they host 21st-ranked Lewis-Clark State in the NAIA Volleyball National Championship Opening Round at McNeal Pavilion.

Saturday night's match starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $8 for reserved seating, $6 for general admission and $2 for students. Passes and season tickets are not valid for the match.

The winners of the 12 opening round matches advance to the NAIA Volleyball National Championship in Sioux City, Iowa on Dec. 1-5.

Southern Oregon enters the match happily playing at home. The Raiders have won 20 of the last 21 matches at McNeal dating back to last season and are 64-6 dating back to the beginning of the 2004 season.

Three of the six setbacks have come to top-ranked Fresno Pacific.

This year marks SOU's fourth trip to the NAIA National Volleyball Championship and first since 2004.
