A night after having their 12-game winning streak snapped at Corban, the 19th-ranked Southern Oregon women's basketball team used a big first half to knock off eighth-ranked Concordia 76-72 tonight in Portland in the regular season finale for both teams.
Southern Oregon finished the regular season 24-5 overall and 16-4 in Cascade Conference play. Concordia finished 25-3 overall and 18-2 in league play. The Raiders enter the Cascade Conference as the No. 3 seed and will host Corban Tuesday night at McNeal Pavilion. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

Jacki Speer (Centralia, Wash./Centralia) recorded her 20th double-double of the season with 29 points and 11 rebounds. Senior
Rhiannon Dickison (Redding, Calif./Anderson) had 22 points and four 3-pointers and junior
Whitney Scott (Tumwater, Wash./Black Hills) had 11 points and four assists.
Rebecca Gimeno had 17 points for the Cavaliers.
After a slow start to start the game, the Raiders got rolling behind Speer and Dickison. Speer finished the first half with 18 points and an 8-for-10 effort from the free throw line, while Dickison had 12 points and three 3-pointers. The duo combined to score the final 14 points of the half for the Raiders as they led 45-28.
Concordia opened the second half on a 17-2 to run to cut the lead to 47-45 with 12:56 to play.
The Cavs ended up tying the game at 68-68 on a free throw by Angela Gimeno with 2:54 to play.
Scott gave SOU the lead back for good at 70-68 with a jumper
Speer then went 4-for-4 from the free throw line and Dickison hit a pair of free throws to close out the game.
Tuesday night's playoff game will be the third matchup between Corban and SOU. The two teams split the two previous games.
