The Southern Oregon women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to Carroll College in Helena, Mont. to put an end to a long three-match road trip to Idaho and Montana.

The Raiders are now 1-3-1 overall and host Fresno Pacific Friday at University Field. Carroll improved to 4-0 on the season.

"For 80 minutes it was a very good match," SOU head coach Jon Clement said. "But they finished strong and I believe that the fatigue factor finally set in. Due to injuries we had only 14 players available and most of those are freshman."

Carroll took a 1-0 lead at the 24 minute mark on an Abbey Coburn goal and that lead stayed until Megan O'Connell started the onslaught of goals over the last 10 minutes.

Southern Oregon finished with two shots on goal, including two from Alexis Mahoney (San Clemente, Calif./San Clemente).

Friday's match against Fresno Pacific is slated to start at 4 p.m.
