Southern Oregon junior Jamie Roupp (Ashland, Ore./Ashland) had her best offensive night as a Raider as she led SOU to a 70-58 victory over Northwest Christian tonight in Eugene.

Southern Oregon improved to 16-8 overall and 5-8 in Cascade Conference play. The Raiders host Northwest and Evergreen State next weekend to wrap up the home season. Northwest Christian fell to 8-14 overall and 2-11 in conference action.

Roupp had a career high 17 points on 7-for-10 shooting and also had a team-high four assists. For the second-straight night, Ashley Baker (Grand Junction, Colo./Fruita) and Jacki Speer (Centralia, Wash./Centralia) turned in double-doubles. Baker had 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Speer finished with 11 points and 14 rebounds.

Jenneca Crocker led the Beacons with 11 points.

SOU held Northwest Christian to 35 percent shooting in the first half and 31 percent shooting in the second half and led by as much as 17 with 3:56 to play in the game.

Carly Wood (Sacramento, Calif./Bella Vista) came off the bench for nine points for the Raiders, including a pair of 3-pointers.
