Playing shorthanded, the Southern Oregon football team rallied for 24-13 victory over Menlo today in Atherton, Calif.
The Raiders snapped a six-game losing streak and improved to 3-6 on the year. SOU travels to Northwestern Oklahoma next weekend.

Playing without some key players due to disciplinary actions, SOU received a pair of key efforts from new faces.
Freshman quarterback
Chris Kammel (Medford, Ore./Phoenix), in his first collegiate action, led SOU to victory and connected with
Danny Keenan (Pacifica, Calif./Terra Nova) for a touchdown of over 60 yards. Freshman running back
CJ Valdivia (Shasta Lake, Calif./Central Valley), also in his first action of the year, rushed for over 100 yards and a touchdown.
SOU also got a interception touchdown return by
James Wheeler (Los Angeles, Calif./William Hart) and a 28-yard field goal by
Tyler Crowley (Palo Cedro, Calif./Bishop Quinn).
