The Southern Oregon women dropped a 91-36 exhibition matchup tonight against NCAA Division I Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Raiders hung with the Utes during the first half and trailed just 40-23 at the half. In the second half, Utah got defensive and held SOU to just 13 points in the second half.

Michelle Plouffe led Utah with 23 points and 14 rebounds, including eight on the offensive glass.

Alexi Smith (Bakersfield, Calif./Stockdale) led SOU with eight points, while Nicole Mowbray (Oak Harbor, Wash./Oak Harbor) and Celonna Arrington (Long Beach, Calif./Bellflower) both had five points.

Southern Oregon (8-7, 2-2) returns to Cascade Conference play next Thursday and Friday when they travel to Northwest Christian and Corban.
