Corban held the Southern Oregon women to a 29 percent shooting night and rolled to a 75-55 victory tonight in Salem.

Corban improved to 9-6 overall and 4-1 in Cascade Conference play. Southern Oregon dropped to 9-8 overall and 3-3 in conference. SOU hosts Simpson Monday night at 5:30.

Katie Steigleman led Corabn with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Jamie Roupp (Ashland, Ore./Ashland) led SOU with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Whitney Scott (Tumwater, Wash./Black Hills) had 10 rebounds and Krystal Smith (Olympia, Wash./River Ridge) finished with 10 rebounds.

Corban jumped out to a 31-19 lead at the half thanks to 44 percent shooting and holding the Raiders to 26 percent shooting.

The second half was much of the same as the Warriors shot 48 percent and held the Raiders to 31 percent shooting .
