Jacki Speer (Centralia, Wash./Centralia)'s rare 20-20 game wasn't enough as the Raiders fell to Oregon Tech 68-63 tonight in overtime in Klamath Falls, Ore.
Oregon Tech improved to 15-13 overall and 8-8 in Cascade Conference play. Southern Oregon dropped to 18-9 overall and 7-9 in conference action.
Speer finished with game-high's in points (24) and rebounds (22) to lead the Raiders.
Emily Brookins (Central Point, Ore./Crater) had 16 points and
Ashley Baker (Grand Junction, Colo./Fruita) finished with 11 points and nine rebounds.
Brittany Cherry had a team-high 14 points and 10 rebounds for Oregon Tech.
The fact that the Raiders got to overtime was impressive despite the fact they shot just 18 percent in first half and trailed 22-18 at halftime.
Oregon Tech scored the final five points of regulation to send the game to overtime and then outscored the Raiders 17-12 in the overtime for the victory.
Southern Oregon travels to Warner Pacific and Warner Pacific next week to wrap up conference play.
