Southern Oregon women's soccer coach Jon Clement announced today that former NCAA Division I soccer player Stephanie Pogue has joined the SOU coaching staff.
"I'm thrilled to welcome Steph to our staff," Clement said. "She's got great coaching energy and ideas and has played at a very high level and wants badly for our program to excel. I'm certainly looking forward to her contributions as well as what we all might learn from her on the field."
Out of high school, Pogue played at Oregon State from 2000-02 and was part of a Beaver team that defeated UCLA and USC in the same year for the first time in school history.
Pogue transferred to NCAA Division II Western Oregon for her junior and senior seasons and earned All-GNAC honors as senior.
After college, Pogue returned to Eagle Point and the head coach of the Eagles' girls soccer program.
