Stephanie Carr (Upland, Calif./Upland) netted a pair of goals as Southern Oregon scored a 4-0 victory over Simpson today in Redding.

Southern Oregon improved to 6-2-1 on the season with the victory. The Raiders open conference play next Friday when they host Northwest Christian.

Carr scored her first goal at the 23:45 mark to give the Raiders a 1-0 lead in the first half.

In the second half, the Raiders put the game away scored three goals in a span of 16 minutes.

Kennedy Roteman (Yorba Linda, Calif./Esperanza) scored to make it 2-0, before Carr found the net again and Denise Powell (Grants Pass, Ore./Hidden Valley) finished at the scoring.

Jessica Kuehlwein (Oregon City, Ore./Oregon City) and Devon Walker (Yelm, Wash./Yelm ) combined for the shutout for the Raiders.

SOU out-shot the Red Hawks 17-1.
