Raiders Knock Off Northwood 64-48 to Improve to 4-0

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. –
Southern Oregon took a 16-point halftime lead and coasted to a 64-48 victory over Northwood Friday night.

Twelve different SOU players scored points as the Raiders improved to 4-0 this season. Northwood opens the season with the loss to fall to 0-1. The Raiders return to action tomorrow night, when they close out their trip to Florida with a game against Southeastern at 7:30 p.m. E.S.T.

Gigi Glogovac (Virginia City, Nev./) and Cassandra Tiggett (Beaverton, Ore./) tied for the team-high point totals with nine points apiece as all 13 active players saw court time in the contest. Krysten Copeland (Rohnert Park, Calif./Santa Rosa High School) led SOU with nine rebounds, and Kiara Moore (Phoenix, Ariz./Tolleson Union) finished with seven points and seven boards to go with two steals for the Raiders.

Keishla Rivera finished with a game-high 14 points for Northwood, with Sarah Pasetky adding 12 points and eight rebounds in the loss. The Raiders shot 31.0 percent (18-of-58) from the field, while limiting the Seahawks to 26.2 percent (16-of-61) shooting.
