Southern Oregon women run over New Hope, 91-77

Box Score EUGENE – The 17th-ranked Southern Oregon University women's basketball team wrapped up its nonleague slate and put an end to a two-game skid with a 91-77 win at New Hope Christian on Monday afternoon.

Carly Meister (Elma, Wash./Elma) led a balanced performance with 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Raiders, who defeated the Deacons for the second time this season and improved to 13-3 overall. They'll host Northwest Christian and Corban on Friday and Saturday in Cascade Conference play, looking to boost a 2-2 record.

Kristen Schoenherr (Rainier, Wash./Rainier) had 16 points, four assists and four rebounds, Allison Gida (Ashland, Ore./Ashland) had 13 points and seven boards, and Autumn Durand (Onalaska, Wash./Onalaska) added 15 points for SOU, which led 55-40 by halftime.

The Raiders' lead was as large as 23 in the second half.

Dorian Perkey scored a game-high 22 points for the Deacons (1-15), while Lei Lolohea and Jess Logan had 19 apiece.
