ASHLAND – The Southern Oregon University women's soccer team will be in California for a few games this week, including two against ranked opponents, with hopes of shaking a three-game skid on its final nonleague leg.

The Raiders (1-3 overall) have been off since a 3-2 loss to Menlo on Aug. 31 at Medford's U.S. Cellular Field. When they return home for the Cascade Conference openers on Sept. 25 and 27 against Evergreen and Northwest, they'll be playing at Raider Stadium for the first time in program history.

Megan McArthur (San Jose, Calif./Presentation) currently leads SOU in goals (2), shots (7) and shots on goal (4), and is one four Raiders with one assist. Jacquie Galvez (Temecula, Calif./Temecula Valley), Kendra Madaras-Kelly (Boise, Idaho/Mountain View) and Caylin Jackson (Claremont, Calif./Claremont) have each scored one goal.
