Boise State too much for Southern Oregon in exhibition

BOISE, Idaho
– The 16th-ranked Southern Oregon University women's basketball team was overmatched by Boise State in a 102-50 exhibition loss Friday at Taco Bell Arena.

Tiani Bradford provided a silver lining with 14 points, five rebounds and three assists, and Autumn Durand shot 4-for-8 to score 12 points, but the Raiders were held to 26-percent shooting as a team.

The Broncos, who scored at least 24 points every quarter, had three 20-plus-point scorers: Brooke Pahukoa (23), Joyce Harrell (22) and Shay Shaw (20). They shot 56 percent from the field and dominated the boards with a 51-29 advntage in rebounds.

SOU did force 20 Boise – seven different players had a steal apiece – but committed 24 of its own.

The Raiders (2-0) play another exhibition contest next Friday at San Jose State.
