ASHLAND – A pair of 1-0 wins on the road improved the Southern Oregon University women's soccer team's postseason outlook significantly last weekend, and the Raiders can do themselves a couple more favors on their home turf this weekend.

Seven regular-season games remain for SOU (3-6-2 overall, 2-2 Cascade Conference), starting with CCC tilts Friday against Warner Pacific (1-5-3, 0-3-1) and Saturday against Eastern Oregon (8-1, 3-1). First kicks for both games are scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at Raider Stadium.

The Raiders enter the matchups tied for sixth place in the CCC, courtesy of a strong finish to a seven-game road swing that resulted in back-to-back wins for the first time in two years. Eight of 12 teams will qualify for the CCC playoffs, and, thanks to Presley Lambert's game-winning goals that sunk Corban and Northwest Christian, the Raiders will start their postseason push with some much-needed momentum.

Quick Hits:
– SOU is 2-1-2 at home since it began playing at Raider Stadium halfway through last season. The Raiders will play four of their last seven at home, but will have been on the road for seven of 11 CCC contest by season's end.
– The Raiders rank fourth in the conference in goal allowed per game (1.38). They shut out two opponents in a row last week for the first time since a stretch of four straight from Sept. 20 to Oct. 3, 2013. With 12 career shutouts, keeper Kylie Moltzen ranks third in Raider history.
– Lambert, Megan Kapp and Allson Ward lead the team with three goals apiece. Lambert's goals last week were the ninth and 10th of her career, and one more will put her in SOU's career top-10.
– SOU ranks first in fouls during CCC play (12.3/game) but has only been issued one yellow card.
– CCC newcomers Carroll (6-3, 4-0) and Rocky Mountain (5-2-1, 3-0) are the only teams left with perfect conference records.

About Warner Pacific: The Knights' only win this year was against Pacific, 1-0 on Sept. 1, but they most recently came away with a scoreless draw against Great Falls and took Carroll to double-overtime before losing 1-0. Staci Tatum and Brittney Yoshimura have two goals apiece, but the team only has six on the season, including one own goal. WPC won last year's matchup with SOU, 1-0 in Portland, and the Raiders have an 11-4-2 series advantage.

About Eastern Oregon: After going 1-5-3 last year in CCC play, the Mountaineers won their first eight games of 2015 by outscoring opponents 44-3 – a 3-0 win over then-No. 20 Northwest included. Carroll handed them their first loss on Sunday, a 2-1 double-overtime decision. Precocious freshman Zoe Anderson has 10 goals and four assists, and senior transfer Crystal Schuder has seven goals and five assists. SOU won last year's meeting in Ashland, 1-0, and is 13-3-1 in the all-time series.
