ASHLAND – The Southern Oregon wrestling teams' annual Red & Black Intrasquad went to the Red squad Wednesday night by a score 47-41 after 20 combined men's and women's matchups at Mountain Avenue Gym.

Redshirt-freshman Justin Acuff won by fall at 141 pounds against starter Devin Poppen in 25 seconds and C.J. McKinnins pinned James Bowers in 3:36 for the winning team. The women gave them a boost as Jade Martin pinned Nikki Jeason in 3:53 and Kal Holliday won by 10-0 technical fall against Gladdys Palma at 130.

For the black team, 197-pounder Tanner Fischer won a pair of bout, one by decision and the other by fall. Latiana Tauaese (191) and Alejandra Rodriguez (130) also had pins.
