Raiders rout Walla Walla by 55

COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. – All 13 players in uniform hit the scoring column for No. 9 Southern Oregon in an 83-28 clobbering of the Walla Walla Wolves on Saturday night at Windemuth Court.

Remi Mejia's 12 points were a game-high for the Raiders, who improved to 22-2 overall and 14-2 in the Cascade Conference going into their final home games of the regular season – next Saturday and Sunday against Corban and Northwest Christian.

Daranda Hinkey and Delaney Sparling hit three 3-pointers to score nine points apiece, and Hinkey added four assists for a bench that amassed 49 points compared to five for WWU's reserves.

The Wolves dropped to 1-15 in the CCC. They were outscored 25-2 in the first quarter and watched the Raiders score the first 21 points of the third to go up 70-15.

Ariel Augustine chipped in nine points, six boards and two steals, Sophia Altemus scored eight points and Kenadee Honaker, Syd'Nee Fryer and Destinee Jones had three steals apiece while combining for 16 points.

The Raiders forced 29 turnovers and grabbed 26 offensive boards. During the two-game stand, they totaled 84 more field-goal attempts than the Wolves.
