ASHLAND – Unhealthy air quality that worsened after kickoff forced officials to stop Southern Oregon and Menlo mid-match in women's soccer action Friday night at Raider Stadium.
 
The Raiders (1-1-1) and Oaks (2-0-0) were tied 1-1 with 26 minutes remaining when they were taken off the field. Because they didn't reach the 70-minute mark, the match is unofficial and its statistics won't be counted. No make-up date has been scheduled.
 
The Raiders will be home again at 11 a.m. Sunday to host UC Merced.
