For the second time in 2019 and the fifth time in her career,
Taylor Ristvedt was voted the Cascade Conference Red Lion Volleyball Attacker of the Week on Monday after leading Southern Oregon to two road wins.
Ristvedt, the Raiders' senior right-side hitter, had 13 kills and two blocks in Friday's sweep of Evergreen (Wash.) and 15 kills and three blocks in Saturday's four-set win at Northwest (Wash.). She compiled her 28 kills on only 51 attacks with seven errors, hitting at a combined .412 average.
Ristvedt has recorded at least 13 kills in seven consecutive matches for the first time in her all-star career. She leads the conference in both kills per set (3.5) and attacking average (.353), and ranks 12th in the latter category on the national leaderboard.
The Portland product's career kill total is up to 1,139. With 17 more, she'll break into the top-five in team history.
The Raiders (17-3 overall, 8-2 CCC), ranked 10th in last week's NAIA Top 25, play a single match this week on Friday at Oregon Tech. They're in third place through the first half of the CCC regular season schedule – one loss behind Eastern Oregon and two behind Corban.
