ASHLAND – Southern Oregon University's fall sports teams, still awaiting the chance to showcase their talents in uniform, were at least recognized for their classwork Monday when 43 Raider student-athletes earned spots on the U.S. Bank Fall Academic All-Cascade Conference team.
To qualify for the Academic All-CCC distinction, one must have been enrolled at their current institution for at least one year and reached sophomore or higher academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2.
SOU was represented by 17 women's soccer player, 10 men's soccer players, six volleyball players, five women's cross country runners and five men's cross country runners.
