PRESCOTT, Ariz. – The Southern Oregon men's wrestling team took 12th-ranked Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) to the brink, but Eagles 197-pounder Oliver Myers clinched a 21-15 dual win with a 3-1 sudden victory in the finale of Saturday night's Cascade Conference matchup.

The Raiders (5-7 overall) took a 15-14 lead on 174-pounder Tanner Sallee's 7-2 decision over Michael Densmore before two nationally-ranked Eagles pulled out the win.

At 184, third-ranked Tyler Hall topped Josh Hammers by 9-0 major decision. Raider freshman Cylus Hoke nearly pulled off the upset of Myers, ranked 10th in the NAIA, before dropping a decision 3-1.

Embry-Riddle improved to 14-4 in duals action.

Four Raiders picked up wins, starting with 11th-ranked Justin Coon, who beat 16th-ranked Collin Anderson 6-3. Layn Pannkuk (149) tacked on bonus points with a 10-0 win against Berit Sturgeon, and 11th-ranked JJ Talavera added a couple more by getting Dawson Javier by 16-0 technical fall at 157.

Taylor Owens's technical fall at 165 and Hall's major decision accounted for ERAU's bonus points.
