ASHLAND – Due to deteriorating air quality in the Rogue Valley, the Southern Oregon women's soccer team's non-conference game against Menlo (Calif.) on Friday will move to Oregon Tech's campus in Klamath Falls for an 11 a.m. kickoff.
Smoke from the nearby Rum Creek Fire put Ashland's air quality in the "unhealthy" category this week, and conditions aren't expected to appreciably improve by game time.
The Raiders – who will now debut at home on Sept. 30 against Providence (Mont.) – enter the matchup with a 1-2 record. The Oaks are 1-0-1.
