ASHLAND – COVID-19 has derailed the Southern Oregon University volleyball team's week and forced the Raiders on Wednesday to cancel their road trip to Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho.

Because SOU is unable to field a team, forfeit wins will be awarded to its opponents on the days of the scheduled matches – Friday and Saturday – in accordance with Cascade Conference policy.

The No. 17-ranked Raiders will drop to 11-5 overall and 5-4 in the CCC. They'll play next at home on Sept. 30 against Multnomah and Oct. 1 against Warner Pacific.
