EUGENE – Back in her hometown, Kami Walk scored 11 points as the Southern Oregon women's basketball team put up a respectable fight in a 76-55 exhibition loss to Oregon on Sunday at Matthew Knight Arena.

The Raiders debuted four new players in their first meeting with the Ducks since 2012, including starting point guard Meghan McIntyre, who went for 12 points, five rebounds and three steals. Izzy Hernandez and Sierra Scheppele added six points apiece, and Clara Robbins collected a game-high eight rebounds.

The Raiders trailed 51-26 at halftime and by as many as 34 points in the third quarter, but narrowed the gap with a game-ending 12-0 run.

Walk, a senior forward and two-time NAIA All-America honorable mention recipient, shot 5-of-10 from the field. She had three rebounds and two steals.

Oregon got 62 points from its starting lineup, led by Chance Gray's 17.

The Raiders have one more exhibition, Friday against George Fox in Klamath Falls, before playing their first counter Nov. 9 at home against Hope International (Calif.).
