KLAMATH FALLS – The Southern Oregon women's basketball team finished its exhibition schedule in successful fashion with a 68-46 win against George Fox on Friday afternoon at Danny Miles Court.
SOU hit at 48 percent from the field and new point guard
Meghan McIntyre acted as the catalyst. She shot 8-of-13 with 18 points, had five rebounds and came up with five steals, helping the Raiders force 27 turnovers.
Kami Walk had nine points and five rebounds.
Sierra Scheppele scored seven and
Makayla Scurlock added three more steals.
The game was also an exhibition for the Bruins, who were led by Ella Roberts' 12 points.
SOU plays its first counters next week, hosting Hope International (Calif.) on Thursday and Simpson (Calif.) on Friday in the Raider Classic at Lithia Motors Pavilion. Both games tip off at 6:30 p.m.
