SPRINGFIELD – College of Idaho's untouchable march through the Cascade Conference continued at Southern Oregon's expense Wednesday night in the semifinal round of the CCC Championships presented by U.S. Bank.

Natasja Davis assisted top-seeded C of I's first goal and scored its second in a 3-1 win that ended the No. 7-seeded Raiders' season at Les Schwab Sports Park. The Yotes, ranked No. 15 in Wednesday's NAIA Top 25 poll, went to 18-1-1 with their 17th consecutive victory. They'd scored 45 straight goals since conceding one until Malaika Quigley tallied for SOU on a penalty kick in the 90th minute.

After putting together one of the most dominant regular seasons in CCC history, they'll get a chance to win their first tournament title Friday against Northwest (Wash.). The Eagles clinched the CCC's second bid for the NAIA Championships by defeating Eastern Oregon 1-0 in their semifinal contest.

The Raiders ended an injury-riddled season with the conference's youngest roster at 9-7-4. They'll lose just two seniors, but both of them are all-stars: Quigley, a midfielder, and defender Sophia Connell.

They came into the night as the only CCC team that had been level with the Yotes in the second half of a game all year. Three minutes before halftime, Davis made sure it didn't happen again by bringing the ball down the left sideline and sending a perfect cross past a couple defenders to Alondra Osuna, who gathered and shot inside the box for the first goal.

Davis made it 2-0 in the 62nd minute, getting an assist from Payton Mongelli. Shaelyn Olsen had the exclamation point in the 89th.

The Yotes totaled 17 shots, seven of which were on target. The Raiders put thfourree shots on goal, the highest total C of I has allowed in two months.

The Raiders opened the tournament by upsetting Carroll (Mont.) 1-0, becoming the first No. 7 seed to get past a No. 2 seed in five years. They were appearing in the semifinals for the fourth consecutive season. They've been knocked out by C of I each of the last three years.
