Carlisle, Raiders thump last-place Wolves

ASHLAND Tre Carlisle shined with a career-high 20 points and second-place Southern Oregon stayed hot with a 98-66 win against Walla Walla (Wash.) on Saturday night at Lithia Motors Pavilion.

The Raiders (18-8 overall, 14-6 Cascade Conference) ran their winning streak to six games in another hot-shooting performance, led by Carlisle's 7-of-10 showing that included four 3-pointers in the senior guard's third start of the season.

They shot 51 percent collectively, making at least half of their attempts for the fifth straight game. They've defeated opponents by an average margin of 25.3 points during the winning streak.

They were up 20 by the seven-minute mark of the first half against the last-place Wolves (1-23, 1-19). Atmar Mundu helped with 17 points and four more 3-pointers, Will Graves scored 16, and Cole McAninch and Dominic McGarvey both had 11.

Tez Allen chipped in seven assists, five rebounds, two blocks and two steals, Mason Whittaker scored eight, and Bryce Dyer had six points, five rebounds and three steals.

The Raiders, who complete the regular season with games Friday at Corban and next Saturday at Bushnell, are in a three-way tie for second place with Eastern Oregon and Warner Pacific.
