ASHLAND – A celebration of life for the late Southern Oregon University men's basketball coach Brian McDermott has been scheduled for May 27.

The service will begin at noon inside Lithia Motors Pavilion. All are welcome to attend.

McDermott served as head coach of the Raiders from 1996-2022, retiring as the longest-tenured head coach at SOU in any sport. He passed away on March 23 following a 17-month battle with cancer.
