McMINNVILLE – Freshman Moh Reynolds notched two goals as the Southern Oregon men's soccer team opened on a high note with a 3-0 win over Linfield College on Tuesday night at the Linfield Soccer Complex.

Official statistics have not been provided by the hosts. The game was a non-counting exhibition for the Wildcats, who are NCAA Division III members of the Northwest Conference.

The Raiders did all of their scoring in the second half, getting the first goal from Reynolds on an assist from Brad Thomas and Sam Walker. Walker also assisted Reynolds, a New Zealand product, for the second goal, and Adrian Villegas tacked on the last.

SOU sophomore Casey Ruvolo was in goal for the shutout.

The Raiders will be home for their next match at 2 p.m. Saturday against Embry-Riddle (Ariz.).
