ASHLAND – The Southern Oregon men's basketball erupted for 59 second-half points to put away Warner Pacific 104-75 on Friday night at Lithia Motors Pavilion.
Brady Rice, a redshirt-freshman from Beaverton, had career-highs of 22 points on 9-of-14 shooting and nine rebounds to lead a Raider bench that outscored WPU's 69-20.
The Raiders (18-9 overall, 13-8 Cascade Conference) can secure fourth place and homecourt advantage in Tuesday's CCC Tournament quarterfinal round with a win in Saturday's regular-season finale. They play at 5 p.m. against Multnomah, which is a game behind in a three-way tie for fifth.
They trailed by seven early in the first half after Warner Pacific's Aiden Smtih drilled a 3-pointer, but crawled out of the hole with a 14-0 run fueled by seven Rice points and ended the half leading 45-36.
Liam Clark threw down an emphatic dunk from a Mason Whitaker lob that sparked a 17-5 run out of the break. The next 15 minutes were all Raiders as they shot 61% from the field and 41% from 3-point range during the half.
Joe Juhala posted 18 points and five rebounds.
Elijah Jackson added 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting, Emmet Fenz drained four 3-pointers for 12 points, and

Bryce Dyer contributed eight points, seven boards and four assists.
Jurrien Sparks scored 19 points while Collin Oestereich and Vincent Warren added 12 apiece for the Knights (11-14, 6-14).
Southern Oregon hasn't dropped a game to Warner Pacific since 2016 and has swept 10 consecutive regular-season series.
