KLAMATH FALLS – The Southern Oregon women's soccer team is off to a 3-0 start in the Cascade Conference for the first time since 2016 after winning at Oregon Tech on Friday afternoon for the first time since that same year.
The Raiders pocketed their third consecutive 2-0 victory with second-half goals from sophomore

Ava Johnson, moving to 6-0-2 overall. Going back to last fall, they have a regular-season unbeaten streak of 12 games that is now the longest in program history.
Their fifth clean sheet, and third in a row, was preserved thanks to six saves by
Ashlyn Fuss, whose NAIA-best save rate increased to 95%.
Yannoni's second goal of the season was a 62nd-minute, left-footed rocket from just outside the box. She faked and blew by her defender to create space for her fourth goal involvement in five games.
Johnson's sixth score – which put her in a tie for the CCC lead with teammate
Tori Lasch – was also an unassisted effort and from nearly the same distance. She took an initial attempt that was blocked by the defender, but the ball came right back to her and she fired a low drive to the corner of the goal. She has tallied three times in as many conference games.
The Owls fell to 4-4 overall and 1-2 in the CCC. The game was their first of the year at home, where they'd been unbeaten in their previous 12 contests going back to 2024.
The Raiders became the first team in the conference to reach three wins, though College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon will have a chance to get there later Friday.
After playing seven of their first eight on the road, they'll be at Raider Stadium for four of their next five. Carroll (Mont.) comes to town next Friday and Rocky Mountain (Mont.) will follow a day later. Both contests start at noon.
