2015: Started all but two games for the Raiders at center during his first year in the program... Helped anchor an offensive line that enabled the Raiders to average 5.4 yards per rush and allowed SOU quarterbacks to get sacked just 22 times... Made the transition back to his more natural position of guard during the spring.

Prior to SOU: Played his first two seasons at Glendale Community College, where he was twice a first-team all-conference selection.

Personal: Born on Feb. 11, 1994 in Los Angeles, Calif... Graduated in 2012 from Cathedral High, where he was a three-year letterman as a lineman on both sides of the ball, a linebacker and a tight end... First-team All-Mission League as a senior; 100 tackles as a junior... The son of Jovita Malacara and Martin Sanchez; has a younger brother, Manny, and a younger sister, Elizabeth... Majoring in health and physical education.
