Biography
2018-19: Competed in track and field at Lane Community College… Placed fourth in the discus throw at the NWAC Championships with a season-best mark of 137 feet 5 inches.
2017-18: Placed fourth at the Cascade Conference Championships in the 285-pound bracket, finishing the season with a 13-14 record… Started the season ranked 16th in the NAIA… Went 6-5 with five wins by fall in dual matches.
2016-17: Redshirted.
2015-16: Went 12-19 during his freshman season for the Raiders… Placed fifth in his first appearance at the NAIA West Regional Championships at 285 pounds, going 2-2 at the tournament…
High School: Graduated in 2015 from Elmira High, where he was a two-time OSAA Class 4A state champion at 285 pounds… Also a first-team all-star in football on the offensive and defensive lines, and the fifth-place finisher in both the shot put and discus throw at the state track and field meet.
Personal: Born on Oct. 22, 1995 in Pendleton, Oregon… The son of Blythe and Arnold (a former member of the SOU track and field team) Wardwell… Has two older siblings, Chandra and Austin… Majoring in communications
