2016: A second-team All-Cascade Conference and All-West Region selection after posting one of the top seasons ever for an SOU freshman pitcher… Had an overall ERA of 2.29 – the lowest for a Raider freshman in the modern era of SOU softball – and a 16-3 record with 48 strikeouts and just 25 walks in 131 2/3 innings pitched… Went 8-2 with a 2.67 ERA in CCC play, ranking fifth in wins… Tossed two shutouts, including a five-hitter in her collegiate debut on Feb. 6 against Holy Names, and allowed more than three earned runs just three times in 17 starts… Threw 6 1/3 innings of scoreless relief on May 17 in the NAIA Opening Round against Lindsey Wilson (Ky.)… Recipient of the Athletic Training Perseverance Award at the SOU All-Sports Banquet.

Prior to SOU: As a senior pitcher at Benicia, Mackey posted a 2.37 ERA with 46 strikeouts in 62 innings and a .213 opponents' batting average… Captained a team that won the Sac-Joaquin section championship.

Personal: Born Dec. 31, 1996 in Berkeley, Calif… Graduated in 2015 from Benicia High… The daughter of Connie and Bob; has an older brother, Robert, and a younger sister, Olivia.
