2016: A second-team All-Frontier Conference selection... Was a defensive stalwart for the third year in a row, starting all 11 games at outside linebacker... Ranked second on the team with 80 tackles, 67 of which were solo, and made 4.5 tackles for losses... Snagged his first career interception on Oct. 22 at College of Idaho, and had a career-high three pass-breakups on Oct. 1 against College of Idaho... Made a season-high 10 tackles on Oct. 15 against Eastern Oregon and made at least eight on six other occasions. 

2015: Missed three games due to injury but was a regular starter in the other 11 at outside linebacker during his sophomore season... Ranked first on the team with three forced fumbles, fourth with 79 tackles (63 solo), second with 10 tackles for losses, and added 2.5 sacks... Made 40 tackles and forced two fumbles in four games during the postseason, and had a season-high 11 tackles in the title game against Marian... Was the male recipient of the Athletic Training Perseverance Award at SOU's 2015-16 All-Sports Banquet and was named "best tackler" of 2015 by the SOU coaching staff.

2014: Emerged as a starting linebacker as a true freshman for the Raiders and ranked fourth on the team with 78 tackles (55 solo), and was third on the team with four sacks... Recorded a season-high 10 tackles on two occasions, the first on Oct. 25 at College of Idaho and the second on Nov. 8 at Montana Tech... Had 26 tackles in four games with two sacks during the NAIA Championship Series... Logged the first two sacks of his career on Oct. 25 at C of I.

Personal: Born on Feb. 17, 1996 in Las Vegas... A 2014 graduate of Canyon Springs High... The son of Breonte Porter and Howard Carter; has one older brother, Lavar Porter, and two older sisters, Leana and Pier Carter... Majoring in business marketing.
