Biography
2017 Outdoor Track: Placed 11th in the 1,500 meters at the Cascade Conference Championships with a time of 4:13.95… Had a season-best 1,500 time of 4:00.41 at the Chico State Twilight for 3rd place… Notched an 800 PR of 1:57.60 for 3rd place at Humboldt State’s Border Battle.
2016 Cross Country: An Academic All-Cascade Conference team member… Placed 24th of 80 at the CCC Championships on Nov. 5, completing the 8K course in 27:38.1… Helped SOU to a team win at William Jessup’s Warrior Invite on Oct. 22 with an 11th-place 8K finish in 25:46.5… Recorded his top finish of the season, 7th of 97, with an 8K time of 25:53 on Oct. 15 at the Lewis & Clark Invite… Running 6,300 meters on Sept. 9 at the Ash Creek Invitational, took 19th of 108 in 20:02.8.
2016 Outdoor Track: Just missed All-Cascade Conference status but scored points as a true freshman, finishing fifth in the 5K at the CCC Championships on May 14 in Hermiston with a season-best time of 15:01.18... Had season-bests of 2:00.67 in the 800 (Chico State Twilight) and 3:58.73 in the 1,500 (April 30, Mt. Hood Track Festival)... Won the 1,500 race at the Chico State Twilight with a time of 4:04.50.
2015 Cross Country: Led all Raider runners at Oregon State's Beaver Classic with a 12th-place finish on an 8K course in 26:06 on Oct. 23... Took 28th overall in 27:08.1 as the Raiders won their eighth consecutive team title at the Cascade Conference Championships.
Personal: Born on March 7, 1997... Graduated in 2015 from Birmingham Community Charter High School in Los Angeles... Parents are Adele and Jerry; has two older brothers, Dylan (a former NAIA 5K champion and multi-time All-American for the Raiders) and Wade... Majoring in business.
