Biography
2019 Track: Clocked personal bests in back-to-back weeks – going 4:03.00 in the 1,500 for second of 13 at the Humboldt Invitational on March 23, then 15:19.02 in the 5K at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic on March 30… Ran the 5K at the Cascade Conference Championships and placed 13th in 16:17.01.
2018 XC: Was SOU’s fourth scorer at the NAIA Championships, completing the 8K course in 25:29.0 for 60th place in the 330-person field and helping the Raiders to fourth in the men’s standings and a combined men’s and women’s national title… Placed 15th of 61 at the Cascade Conference Championship meet in 25:52.3, making him SOU’s fifth scorer… Placed 12th of 136 at the Lewis & Clark Invitational (24:41.3) and 10th of 109 at the William Jessup Invite (25:09.0).
2018 Track: Ran a season-best of 4:04.05 in the 1,500 for seventh place of 39 at the UC Davis Woody Wilson Classic… Also ran 4:04.70 for runner-up status at the Pacific Twilight Invitational.
2017 XC: Debuted at University of Washington’s Sundodger Invitational with a 26:48 8K time… Ran 26:19 at the William Jessup Invitational for 40th place of 114 runners.
2017 Track: As a true freshman, recorded season bests of 2:02.39 in the 800 meters at Humboldt State’s Border Battle; 4:07.58 in the 1,500 at the Chico State Twilight; and 16:01.73 in the 5K at the Sacramento State Hornet Invitational. His 1,500 time at Chico put him in fourth place, his top finish of the season.
2016 XC: Redshirted.
High School: Graduated in 2016 from Amador High, where he was a four-year letterwinner in track and field as an 800-meter (2:01) and mile (4:31) specialist.
Personal: Born on Jan. 12, 1998 in Jackson, California… Mother’s name is Rebecca; has an older sister, Lexie, and a younger brother, Nick… Majoring in history.
