Biography
2019 Track: Season-best time of 1:52.17 in the 800 – recorded on May 3 in a win at the Portland Twilight – was No. 10 on the national performance list and made him an automatic qualifier for the NAIA Outdoor Championships… Finished 10th in the 800 prelims at the national meet and missed the final by just 14-hundreths of a second with a time of 1:53.10… Was the Cascade Conference 800 runner-up in 1:52.97, and also scored with a seventh-place finish in the 1,500 (3:59.28) and as part of the Raiders’ third-place 4x400 team (3:22.10)… Had a season-best of 3:56.69 in the 1,500, which was logged at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic and finished No. 7 on the CCC performance list… Won 800 races at the Raider Invitational (1:53.85) and John Knight Twilight (1:56.70).
2018 XC: Redshirted.
High School: Graduated in 2018 from Crescent Valley High… As a senior, placed second in the 800 at the OSAA Class 5A Championships with a time of 1:54, and had a best of 50.4 second in the 400… Was also the 5A 800 runner-up as a junior in 1:57 and placed fourth in the 1,500 (4:05).
Personal: Born on Oct. 24, 1999 in Salem, Oregon… The son of Jenn Sandvig and Kirk Linville… Majoring in healthcare administration.
