Biography

2017: Missed the last month of the season due to injury, but prior to that was a force for the Raiders as a starting tackle in his true freshman season... Finished with 37 tackles and 6 1/2 sacks -- the second-highest total on the team -- including six during a four-game stretch from Sept. 9 to Oct. 14... Was named the Frontier Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 11 after posting 2 1/2 sacks with one forced fumble and another recovered at College of Idaho.

High School: Graduated in 2017 from North Medford High, where he was a three-sport standout... Named to the All-Southwest Conference first team as a junior and senior and the second team as a sophomore for his work on the defensive line, and received honorable mention twice as an offensive lineman... The 6A state runner-up in the shot put as a senior on the Tornado track and field team... Also lettered three years in basketball.

Personal: Born on March 31, 1999 in Medford, Oregon... The son of Tracey and Tim Holmes; has an older brother, Tristen, who is an all-conference guard for the Raider men's basketball team, and a younger sister, Taryn... Majoring in mathematics.
