Tyler Myerly

After three years in the public eye and on sidelines across Southern Oregon, Tyler Myerly joins the Raiders in a different sideline capacity as the new head coach of the cheer and dance teams in 2023-24.

Myerly most recently was the News and Sports Anchor at KTVL News 10 from 2020 to '23. She currently works with Medford School District as the Public Relations and Communications Manager and brings vast experience in the cheer and dance world to SOU.

Myerly, 28, served as head coach from 2017-19 for the Song and Dance Team at Corona Centennial High School (Calif.), where she choreographed and coached a national championship routine. She also danced professionally for three seasons with the San Diego and Los Angeles Chargers organization from 2015-2018. During her time with the Charger Girls, Myerly danced in front of more than 70,000 fans at every home game, including prime time games.

Myerly hopes to boost the program in a way that showcases the teams' athletic performance, health and overall wellness, artistic creativity and highest representation of the Southern Oregon University community.
