Biography
Prior to SOU: Attended and competed at Southern Utah University from 2016-18... As a sophomore at the 2017 Big Sky Conference XC Championships, placed 15th overall with a 5K time of 17:57.2... As a freshman at the 2016 Big Sky XC Championships, placed 29th overall in 18:37, then ran the NCAA Mountain Regional 6K in 22:32.90 for 97th place... In track, recorded bests of 4:44.69 in the 1,500 and 17:11.31 in the 5K... At the 2018 Big Sky Outdoor Championships, placed 13th in the 5K (17:15.95) and 20th in the 1,500 (4:51.52).
Personal: Graduated in 2016 from Phoenix High, where she won state championships as a junior in cross country and track and was a perennial scholar athlete... The daughter of Bud and Kriste Amundsen.
