Biography
2017 Outdoor Track: Named to the Academic All-Cascade Conference team… Scored for the Raiders in two events as they won the team title at the CCC Championships: He was the 5K runner-up with a new personal best of 14:57.25 and placed 4th in the 1,500 in 4:05.59… Notched a 1,500 PR at the Sacramento State Hornet Invite in 3:59.56… Won the 5K race at the Raider Invitational in 15:08.07.
2016 Cross Country: Was SOU’s third scorer and placed 37th of 331 overall as the Raiders captured the team title at the NAIA Championships, completing the 8K North Farms Cross Country Course in 25:20.7… Earned All-Cascade Conference accolades for the first time by placing 5th of 80 at the CCC Championships with a time of 26:40.6, helping the Raiders cruise to a ninth consecutive title… Posted his best finish of the season, 2nd of 69, at William Jessup’s Warrior Invitational in 25:06.2… Placed 5th of 97 in 25:41 at the Lewis & Clark Invite… A member of the fall Academic All-CCC team.
2016 Track: Took ninth place in the 5,000 meters at the Cascade Conference Championships on May 14 in Hermiston, registering a season-best time of 15:10.57... His only other time running the 5K was April 23 at the Raider Invitational, where he was seventh in 15:17.59... Ran the 1,500 once, clocking 4:02.23 on April 30 at the Mt. Hood Track Festival.
2015 Cross Country: Finished 18th of 72 overall at the Cascade Conference Championships on Nov. 7 at Corban, clocking in at 26:45.5 on the 5K course... Made his SOU debut with a 12th-place finish at the Cascade Conference Preview Meet on Sept. 18 in Salem, running the 5K course at Corban in 27:20.5... Took 23rd place at Oregon State's Beaver Classic (26:37) on Oct. 23.
Personal: Born on Nov. 1, 1996... Graduated in 2015 from Truckee High (Nevada County, Calif.), where he won the Nevada Division 1A state cross country race as a junior and clocked a 5K time of 15:38 as a senior... Parents are Toni and Carl; has one brother, Nick... Studying pre-nursing and currently serves as a volunteer at the intensive care unit for Asante in Medford.
