Prior to SOU: Attended Saddleback College out of high school... As a freshman in 2014, recorded 33 tackles and two interceptions over seven games played.

High School: Graduated in 2014 from Central Catholic High, where he was an all-conference and all-state performer... Helped the Rams to a 6A state title as a senior, and secured the game-winning interception in the championship game.
